The new horror-comedy thriller Coyotes made its world premiere at Fantastic Fest on September 20, 2025, before hitting U.S. theaters on October 3. Behind the Scenes

Produced by Gramercy Park Media and Source Management Production, with financing from Capstone Studios and Magnetic Labs, the movie was filmed in Bogotá, Colombia, between November and December 2024. Brittany Allen, who also appears in the cast, composed the score, giving the film its unsettling yet playful soundscape.

Distribution rights were acquired by Aura Entertainment for the U.S., with Signature Entertainment handling the U.K. and Ireland rollout.

William Bibbiani of The Wrap described it as a “missed opportunity,” noting that while the premise had potential, its execution lacked thematic depth. RogerEbert.com’s Brian Tallerico rated it two out of four, criticizing the CGI coyotes as unrealistic, though he acknowledged the film’s entertaining deaths and decent ensemble performances.
